Section IV: Senior Participant Addendum

Any Senior Participant who has shown outstanding dedication to the Track & Field program over their High School career may receive a Honorary Varsity Letter for their efforts.

* This requirement does not apply if an athlete first sets a School Record in an event with
NO previous time, distance, or height.
This requirement also does not apply if a student who first set a non-existent School Record breaks his or her own school record later in the
SAME season. Students must wait for a new season before they can break their own record and have it count as a requirement under Section I.
Students may not double count breaking the same school record multiple times in the same season even if it replaces a previously held record.
** For Throwers, the set requirement will be 2 events per meet for 1½ points.
